In order to maintain my customer’s vehicles to the highest of standards I follow a multi stage wash process which removes dirt from the exterior surfaces without scratching the paintwork

My valeting services are mainly carried out on a mobile basis, all I require is access to an outside tap and power source and for the vehicle to be parked in a suitable location off the road. I am available 7 days a week and can travel to either your home or business premises.

Exterior wash process:

Pre wash
The first stage of any exterior valet is to cary out a thorough pre wash of the entire vehicle, including the wheels. Snow foam is applied and left to dwell which loosens dirt, allowing it to be rinsed away. Wheel arches are thoroughly rinsed.

Wheels
As the dirtiest part of the vehicle, wheels are cleaned first using a range of products depending on the level of contamination present. In addition to the two buckets used for the main contact wash, I use a dedicated wheel bucket to ensure that there is no risk of cross contamination with the exterior surfaces.

Contact wash
I use the 2 bucket wash method with a ph neutral shampoo and microfibre wash mitt to clean all exterior surfaces. A soft detailing brush is also used to clean in tight areas such as around badges/emblems and windows.

Decontamination
Your vehicle is exposed to a variety of contaminants on a regular basis. Brake dust contains sharp ferrous particles which embed themselves in a car’s paintwork and then rust, expanding and potentially compromising the intergity of the clear coat over time. Tar deposits from the road surface also stick to the paintwork of your car causing stains and reducing the effectiveness of paint protection products. My maintenance valet package includes removal of these contaminants as standard where necessary according to the level of use of the car.

Drying
A combination of premium microfibre drying towels and air ensures that your vehicle is dried safely and without leaving water spots behind.

Paint protection
For vehicles which have been ceramic coated, I use the appropriate maintenance product to top up the protection and ensure the coating continues to perform as intended . For vehicles which have not been ceramic coated, I apply a spray on sealant which gives some short-term protection.
